I think it is definitely about open communication and creating a safe space to speak up. To recognize achievements and to have equal opportunities.

I think it will bring more diversity within a team. Different thoughts, ideas and input from women can provide a more balanced view.

Be kind to yourself and do not give up. Don't be afraid to fail and never stop learning, esp. in the Tech world. Focus on what you can control.

What motivates me to excel is to know and see that my hard work and learnings are helping people. It is constant learning (and every day is different) and knowing that I am making a difference.

Be yourself, speak up, admit when you are wrong and treat others how you would like to be treated.

My mother. She is the most aspirational person, regardless of gender. Nothing stopped her. If she wanted to do something, like paving the driveway with a special design,
she taught herself how to do it, bought the bricks, and did it. This was a time before YouTube.

She was always determined, and motivated.

Same questions for all of them. How do you do so much? How do you balance it all? Also would just love to here stories from there lives.

Communication, this means talking to and listening to what they are saying. Not everything can be fixed, well, not straight away anyway.

Motivation and positive reinforcement. People work harder, if they are trying to make the world better.

Teaching and career development, to improve skills.

Women tend to see the bigger picture. So, when creating a solution, they are able to think past just the basic problem, to solve the issue in a more universal way, not just add a "button".

Fail fast, and don't get stuck with decision paralysis. Rather do something, than not, because you are to worried to get it wrong.

When you start, you will do lots of things wrong. Fail fast, learn and improve.

I am motivated by solving problems.

Working in the tech industry the constant is to keep up with the ever changing landscape. Teach people more about tech, and watch them grow and evolve.

Do what makes you happy. If your job makes you happy, it stops being work, and becomes fun. But don't let it consume you, make sure to keep a work-life balance.

What fulfils me in life is making a positive impact on those around me. In my personal life, it's the deep connections I share with my loved ones and the joy of nurturing relationships that are meaningful and supportive. 

Professionally, fulfilment comes from leading successful projects, overcoming obstacles, and knowing that my work contributes to making a difference, whether it's improving processes or supporting my team’s growth. Balancing both aspects gives me purpose and drives me forward every day.

It's important for more women to join the tech industry because diversity drives innovation. When women bring their perspectives, experiences, and ideas into tech, they help create more inclusive products and solutions that better serve a diverse user base.

Moreover, the tech industry has a significant influence on the future of our world, from shaping digital communication to advancing healthcare. Women’s involvement ensures that the future we build is more representative of all people, not just a subset.

Additionally, increasing the number of women in tech can help break down stereotypes and barriers, inspiring the next generation of girls to pursue careers in this field. What motivates me to excel is the impact my work has on both the people and the projects I manage. Knowing that I’m playing a pivotal role in delivering solutions that solve real problems for clients and help teams grow keeps me driven. I also find motivation in the continuous learning that comes with the ever-evolving nature of technology and project management, as it pushes me to sharpen my skills and adapt to new challenges. Ultimately, seeing the positive outcomes of my efforts—whether it’s a successful project completion or a happy client—gives me the greatest sense of fulfillment.

Believe in yourself and don't shy away from the unknown or the unexpected. With passion and determination, anything is achievable.

My mother and sisters. My mother is awesome, she fears the Lord, is a great leader, she's witty and a wise woman. She has contributed so much (she still is) to the woman I am. I've always watched her and the way she does things, and try to copy as best as I can. My sisters are awesome, each of them inspire me in their own ways. My younger sister, it's her will, resilience, her intelligence  and zeal in pursuit of her career. My older sister, has an amazing heart, that softness and kindness inspires me, I watch her as a wife and mom and try to emulate what I see because she's amazing at it. My oldest sister, she is a huge part of my support system, time and time again she has been a shoulder to cry on and has always been protective of us, she always shows up for me regardless of what's going on in her life, and I appreciate her! 

Don't view the qualities that make us who we are as weaknesses. Often, things like tears are seen as inappropriate, but they're a natural, human response—especially for women. I'm not saying that allowing women to cry at work is the key to creating an environment where they thrive. What I am saying is that we need to create a workplace where being human, being a woman, isn’t seen as inappropriate, bad, or something that needs to be suppressed.

Additionally, visible female leadership!

My faith! I'm anchored by my faith in everything I do, both personally and professionally. It's where my resilience comes from, my positive attitude and joy come from. I would not be the woman I am today if it were not for the LORD. Jesus is everything to me :')

Being a wife and mom is fulfilling for me, it's not easy, but it's definitely worth it! My family, both my husband and child as well as extended family, mean the world to me.

I do admit though, that I should live for myself as well, my world revolves around being an employee, wife and mom, so I'm trying to be more intentional about doing things that fulfil me, like reading, singing, photography and just general goofing off.

I think representation is so important, for the girls coming after us. Sometimes, you don’t realize what you can achieve or aspire to until you see someone else do it and think, 'Cool, I want to do that too.'

Also, woman are awesome and have epic contributions to make to the industry. Nuff said!

You don't know what you don't know. You must always be willing to learn and research. Talent/creativity is not enough, it may get you there, but it won't sustain you. 

Trial and error is a part of it, you won't always get it right, be willing to identify what went wrong and recalibrate.

I'm motivated by the chance to make a difference, whether it's helping someone out, solving a problem, or just doing a great job. Seeing everything come together and knowing I played a part in that success really pushes me to do my best.

My personal goals are to get a house of my own and travel internationally. I've never been out of the country, so that's definitely something I hope to do soon. :D

My professional goals

- Elevation, I'm not trying to be an intern forever lol. 

- I want to make an impact in the company, it's all good and well to create wonderful content, maintain the website etc. and improve brand visibility, but I want my contributions to be huge part of the company's growth and exponential success.

My mum, even in the grave she was and is the most hardworking, ceiling breaking woman I know - a reflection of how being an inspiration transcends life itself.

An environment that sees you as an individual and doesn't look at your sex to determine your worth and or capacity.

I love laughing and I love my family and in order for me and my family to laugh freely, I chase the paper... I believe in a better tomorrow for myself and those around me achieved by all of us working together, so I play my part hoping you do too.

Long gone are the days when we could only be secretaries and receptionists, tech is here to stay and we need to take part in building diversely represented, innovative and inclusive solutions lest we find ourselves left behind and misrepresented.

If someone else could do it, you can do it as well.

As an AM, learning is a part of what I do every day; knowing my job makes workflows easier for diverse teams in various organisations is really cool.

I'm currently working towards my MBA and PhD - for the love of books and knowledge absorption.

The important thing is to start, don't plan too much - just do it!

Definitely my mom - she's independent, works hard, and goes above and beyond.

I would ask them how they have made a massive success of their careers even though they are struggling with their mental and physical health.

I will go above and beyond in my professional life and in my personal life for my family and friends.

Yes, because some women still see IT as a "man's world", I get A LOT of women that tell me "Wow, you're the first woman I've ever heard of in IT".

Begin with Servers and Networking, thereafter, get into MS Products, especially SharePoint.

What drives me in my role is the opportunity to solve complex problems and make a tangible difference in how organizations operate. SharePoint is a powerful tool for collaboration, and I am motivated by the challenge of ensuring that clients can leverage its full potential without technical barriers. The satisfaction of resolving issues that directly impact users' productivity and the continuous learning that comes with the ever-evolving SharePoint landscape keeps me motivated to excel in my role.

To be honest, I have no idea - my goals change daily for each week.
